Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing to bring original art into your space. Each painting is unique and crafted with care, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.

Handling Time:
Please allow 2–3 business days for handling before your order is shipped.

Shipping Time:
Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days. During the holiday season, delivery may take longer (up to 10 business days), depending on the carrier. I apologize for any delays caused by the carrier.

Lost or Damaged Items:
If your package is lost in transit, please contact me at hello@brigitaaleksova.com within 48 hours. I will work with the carrier to resolve the issue or send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
If you receive a damaged item, email me within 48 hours of delivery with pictures of the damage to be eligible for a replacement or return.

International Shipping:
I am happy to ship my original paintings worldwide! However, international shipping costs vary based on the destination, package size, and weight.

How It Works:

  • Before purchasing, please contact me at hello@brigitaaleksova.com with your shipping address so I can calculate an estimated shipping cost for your order.

  • Once the shipping cost is agreed upon, I will proceed with your order.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
Please note that international buyers are responsible for any VAT, import fees, or customs duties charged by their country. These charges are not included in the shipping fee and will be collected separately by your local customs office.

Shipping Times:
Shipping times vary depending on the destination and carrier. Estimated delivery times will be provided with the shipping quote, but delays may occur due to customs processing or other factors outside my control.

Refund Policy

Returns:
Original paintings are non-returnable unless agreed upon in advance. If you wish to return a painting for any reason (e.g., it doesn’t meet your expectations), you must contact me at hello@brigitaaleksova.com before purchasing to discuss the terms.

If a return is agreed upon in advance:

  • You must inform me within 3 days of receiving the painting if you wish to return it.

  • The painting must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

  • You are responsible for the return shipping costs, including ensuring that the artwork is safely packaged and returned undamaged.

Damaged Items:
If the painting arrives irreparably damaged due to a defect or mishandling before shipping, I will accept a return or provide a replacement. Please notify me within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence of the damage.
For damage occurring during transit, I will evaluate the issue and may repair or replace the item, depending on feasibility.

Refunds:
Refunds will only be issued after I receive and inspect the returned painting (if applicable). Refunds will be processed to your original payment method, but please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process the transaction.

Late or Missing Refunds:
If you haven’t received your refund, please:

  1. Check your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take time for the refund to post.

  3. If you’ve done all this and still haven’t received your refund, contact me at hello@brigitaaleksova.com .
